We start selling strawberries in mid-June from our farm stand, and open for Pick Your Own when school lets out for the summer, around June 20th. Follow us on Facebook for strawberry updates!
ABOUT OUR BERRIES
We plant our strawberries on biodegradable plastic mulch to control weeds and eliminate any need for herbicides. Our plants are only sprayed if we detect excessive insect pressure, and then only with an organic insecticide.
We never spray once berries are forming, or prophylactically like most growers. Fields are rotated, and planted to a variety of cover crops to keep them fertile, and the soil healthy. Our bee hive helps with pollination, and our full sun sites with rich loamy earth produce what we truly believe are the best tasting strawberries to be found anywhere!
Pre-picked quarts $6
PYO $2.95 per pound
ABOUT PICK YOUR OWN
PYO season runs from around the third week in June until the second week in July, weather dependent.
We are open daily 9-1, or until picked out.
The best picking is early in the day, and early in the season! We are a small operation and do get picked out on busy days.
You may bring your own container (we will weigh it prior to picking) or buy a flat for $2.
